I've been blogging for so long..even way before my city mixtape came out. I won't get a tumblr..no point - I'll use this right? I used to be so into this blog....posting essay long ideas and thoughts that came into my mind... then I had nothing to say....
because everything I said I started putting into my music...

I do have to say one thought though....
that mixtape you heard - 40's & high class shorties
on the front side of it..yeah, it's about partying your face off
but on the back side of it..
if you listen closely - maybe if you need to smoke to it..then smoke to it
because there is more metaphorical thoughts and shit that you'll hear
you never even realized u were listening to..
listen to the production - the beat..
just close your eyes and put your head phones on at night when your bored
focus on the left & right ear channel -
listen to the synths and the layers of sounds i mixed..
does it get visual at all? if you don't know I focus more on the feel of the record..
the beat side..the melody and all
soooo..
hopefully now you can appreciate this mixtape..
if you just listen a little closer

I remember staying up for 2 to 3 days straight mixing this album..I still work that hard..you have to

people who say "real music" really don't understand and are the most close-minded people. Real "hip-hop", Real rock, Real r&b...
people who mention anything about this or that sounding pop are also unaware that pop isn't a particular sound but that of a group of genres coming together - as in - the best of the best of each genre and making a top playlist in which we call pop..people who also say real hip-hop is dead or anything played out don't understand - not everything has to be derived off of lyricism, sure metaphors are punchlines are entertaining but anyone can convince another persons emotion by just speaking with emotion right? like they actually love what they do..so when they preach whatever they wanna say you get caught on because through the way they express themselves you wanna listen more..think about it.

hip-hop isn't about lyrical mc's nor is it about a 90's competitive dog eat dog style anymore..hip-hop and music in general evolve into this tree and the people who don't agree with how the tree is growing complain? c'mon - people who complain about the way music's going annoys me because they don't understand that you can simply JUST listen to the music you like and be happy with your little lives. Old school hip-hop was about simple lines and people we breakdancing back then well why not compare that to what's going on now? you see when you listen to music, especially me, I'd like to think of someone 20 years from now wondering why the old school music "which would be our music now" was so good but the people didn't like it..it seems like most closeminded musical wizards are stuck in this 5-10 year lag....I'm not saying don't like the 90's music anymore but people need to understand that music grows, kids get influenced by different sounds and create it into their own..people who don't like southern rap and say that "aint real rap" are foolish also - to me those are the simple rhyming artist like the 80's era and made it into a more crunk meets get your stress out music...that not might be a good explanation but i know you can understand what i'm trying to say..

people nowadays consider pop music - bubble gum music - and crap like that and artist who go into the mainstream are selling out...why do people feel that way? pop music is just what's popular! why not support the artist you've been supporting for so long because everyone else likes em, that's like being a spoild brat and wanting everything for only yourself..think about it..ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE can be pop aka top 40 aka the popular sound people like to hear aka where borders clash and come together in which we call radio music aka good music? because if that was the case why wouldn't everyone be pop?

I will definitely have a stream and more of an up to date "whadup vlog" with cover songs and acoustic songs I've been creating. Whether I turn that into a small mixtape of quality bangers is gonna be left to you, if you want a free mixtape before the e.p then tell me! As for the e.p visually - well, it's very beach(y) pastel colors and - sunset with niceee lights. it can be a 4 am drive on a highway looking at the moon & stars or driving through a strip like miami and passing street lights. if your the type to do everything once living crazy and by that i mean being the one to always dance when no one else is dancing - crack jokes when everyone is dull - wear whatever the hell you want in a room full of "i'm so fly" people - listen to any type of music ( by any i mean - the beatles to 40's big band to michael jackson to led zeppelin to weezer to system of a down to the diplomats, etc!) a circle full of close minded music listeners to having the self confidence that anything goes and every 24 hours your given in your day must be made hell a worth the time!! if you have any of these qualities or something synonymous then we're living what we call a "PROBANE LIFESTYLE".
What's Probane? well doesn't it sound like a drug of some sort? doesn't it have a catchy twist to it that comes off well?
doesn't it sound like a movement, a lifestyle? well hell yeah - I even made an anthem for it (coming soon). Probaneeeeeee will be our lifestyle wherever the hell we are.
I promise to put my best out there for ya'll and through word of mouth hopefully we can get this movement going !!!!
